Lea Bridge by James Sullivan
The start of a new week, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed? Nope me neither, but this hit my inbox this morning and I have to say I think it's great! The debut solo album from More Kicks frontman James Sullivan, Light Years, was born out of a challenge to write 10 songs in 10 days during last year's lockdown. The lead track, Lea Bridge, has a kind of Half Man Half Biscuit meets Sleaford Mods meets Velvet Underground kind of vibe (which I think we'd all have to say can't be bad). I've listened to it on repeat, happy days - my computer then promptly crashed - back to reality (as someone once sang about). MI
