SINGLE: I Can’t Say No by Dylan De Bono

After a summer hiatus we all clamber on board the tour bus and the destination this time is Malta. I Can’t Say No by singer/songwriter is the ideal and perfect summer track, the perfect amount of rhythmic beats and melodies, subtle over dubbing of catchy lyrics - yet has a dark and intriguing side too. My initial thought was it was a cross between The Beloved meets Prefab Sprout meets Plastic Operator - but that could just be me as I have had a month or so away? Very much a track straight from the heart, as Dylan puts it, ‘It's a song I wrote about a dancer I met at a strip-club when I was fresh from a break-up and stepping a little on the wild side, embracing impulsive, sometimes self-destructive behaviour.
