Single: Hold On To My Ex by The Great Leslie

Well, we (I mean, I) like this very much. The Great Leslie may have only been formed in 2020, but let’s say they have been prolific (Eight singles, an EP and counting!) How On to My Ex is a poppy, upbeat indie/rock track - think of a hint of The Communards, meets a dash of Alt J. Love it! I think lead singer Ollie sums up the track perfectly, 'Hold On To My Ex is based on several of my own past experiences where I found it difficult to let go of someone. Everyone’s been through breakups, some voluntary and some not, myself included. When that happens, and you’re in that headspace, heartbroken, having to try to accept that things are over it can be very hard.’ The Great Leslie will go places. Watch this space. MI
