Single: Don't Burn The Sky by Steven Faulkner

Why don't you… Just switch off your TV and do something less boring instead (a reference there for the millenials… not!) Rather than just sit watching the Ukraine shit show that we have been watching for the past couple of months, Hinckley native Steven Faulkner decided to put his creative talents to articulate his thoughts. His latest release, ‘Don’t Burn The Sky’, has achieved that beautifully. In my eyes there is something very 90s, with a terrific lick and hook. The track is an ode to the war in Ukraine, with fear, anger and defiance, and I particularly like the following lines, ‘…always a despot hungry for power,’ and, ‘…mad man got keys to keys the asylum’. MI
