Single: Blood-Starved Beast by Saahil Bhargava

A rock opera in the making, with so many layers, it’s simply beautifully curated. The drum and piano are sumptuous with New York native Saahil’s vocals (think Brian Molko of Placebo) are spot on. Blood Starved Beast is pure theatre, you can imagine it as the soundtrack for high-end computer game - along the lines of Assassins Creed (to be honest I am totally out of my comfort zone as the last game I played was FIFA 96!) Love it or hate it prog rock when done well is fantastic and Blood Starved Beast is a track I like a lot. That reminds me to dust off my vinyl copy of Rick Wakeman’s Journey to the Centre of the Earth and revisit. MI
